Making plans to hit the road with your little ones in tow? Before you load everyone into your RV and hit the highway, be sure to read over some of our helpful tips below. With our advice, your kids are sure to have the time of their lives both in your camper and out of it.

Entertainment

While riding in an RV is a lot more fun than traveling in the car, your children will still get bored at some point during the ride. Make sure to bring along plenty of entertainment to keep them busy, such as books, movies, video games, board games, or arts and crafts. You’ll also want to have plenty of activities planned for when you arrive at your destination, as children can become bored very quickly when they’re not being engaged.

Bedtime

If you have a younger child, managing bedtime in an RV may be difficult. Your child may be upset by the unfamiliar surroundings or the change in routine. To ensure your child gets some good rest, try to have a set bedtime and bedtime routine each day, and bring along bedtime accessories—such as familiar toys, plushies, sheets, or a nightlight—to make them more comfortable.
